![]() ![]() Free plan gives enough for anyone that just want to have their notes safe and encrypted (I have friends that are more than happy with just the Free plan), Core plan for anyone that wants to give basics edit to their notes, Plus and Pro plans are for anyone that will actually depend of SN in their lives, so for those plans you're paying for a investment, investments is not supposed to be "cheap" if you're thinking about servers, quality of life of the product, support and etc, and I can't see any other product doing the same or better. In my view I see nothing abysmal in those plans. I'm in the early subscription, so yeah I'm paying less than the current plan, but still, do you really use ALL of those features from the Pro Plan to actually have a point to complain about the new pricing? I certainly don't (I still wish TokenVault as a separate app, so I don't use that). SN was my first subscription that I paid for any software and I don't regret any cent of it, actually it's one of the best money wisely spent that I've did, because SN is now part of my daily basis, it helps me so much, from work to personal notes. What "competitors"? I really don't get it when people complain about something, talk about alternatives to try to hate on it, but never mention any name with all the relevant pros and cons. At this rate I'll be going back to Joplin. I hate saying this, because it was until recently an app I swore by. ![]() Now I'm only using it because I've already paid for it and I hope it is one day soon whole again. Originally I bought it for peace of mind. Every time I open the app there's too high a probability it won't work right. I haven't given up, I'm still subscribed and will keep an eye on things but for every day use I'm just not inclined to put anything in it that I need to be confident I can access it whenever/wherever I am. I'm afraid to use Token Vault anymore, who knows if anything but the plain text editor will work on my phone on any given day now. If it's just plain text, even Vivaldi's built in notes functionality is faster, more reliable and costs absolutely nothing. If I don't need crypto for the content, Evernote is more reliable and does more at a lower price point. Going between multiple desktops and mobile, it is at once the app I'm least confident is going to work as I expect when opened while also being the most expensive. I understand their need to monetize, but it's unfortunate that they simultaneously hiked up the price while releasing the most unstable versions of the app I've ever used. I have not given up entirely yet, I've still got time on my sub and do want to see SN succeed. While classic note taking usually has a more rigid structure of lines and lines of text and can border on the edge of transcription sketchnoting is non-linear, creating different opportunities to identify connections between topics and themes. ![]()
